The summer is quickly coming to a close, but here at 2 A.M. we have one more vacation on the horizon... beach time over Labor Day weekend! Momma is getting beach ready in a few ways.

  • Self tanning with Isle of Paradise self tanning drops: These delicious smelling self tanning drops help keep me look sun-kissed while I continue to slather on the SPF!

  • Boosting my morning smoothies with Thorne MediClear - SGS protein powder: Thorne is a highly regarded company and if you haven't tried this protein powder - IT IS DELICIOUS. I use this specific product as it's tasty, a quick meal replacement for when I'm on the go and supports gut health (which I'm going to need since I'll likely be consuming more than my normal amount of adult beverages

  • Mom Bod for the win in these suits!: I got a mom bod (I hope that becomes as popular as dad bod), and since I'm determined to run after my squirt on the beach without everything falling out - a supportive AND attractive bathing suit is in order. Aerie's swimsuits make the cut. They look cute on, don't break the bank and keep everything in place as it should be!

  • Ray-ban's be gone, hello Humps Optics!: My son tugs and pulls on my sunglasses - every.damn.time. I can't afford to have my $$$ sunglasses get trashed by a thrashing toddler. However, since I have a toddler, THE BEST sunglasses that also won't break the bank and are torment tested are Humps Optics.

  • Forget taking the sand home with you - use a linen beach towel: This is a pricier item, but I have had my linen beach towel from deck towel for over 5 years and it is still going strong! Linen can hold up to 20 x its weight in water and dries more quickly. Did I mention it's tiny to pack in comparison to a terry cloth towel and sand just falls right off... oh and it's a quick beach cover if you need it!

  • Perfect sandals for all occasions: Another summer splurge (I got this back in May), but they have been my go-to shoes since then! Easy to clean, comfortable, and fun in a myriad of colors - I will don these dawn to dusk! P.S. As someone that grew up in the 90's - who doesn't want adult jellies?!

And let's not forget about dad!

  • My hubs recently invested in a pair of sunglasses straps by Dangles Gear!: He is also tired of having his sunglasses tossed around. This company uses recycled materials, donates a portion of the sale to conservation, has a not icky strap design (you know what I'm talking about) AND if you sign up for their mailing list - you get 50% off your order and free shipping! #winning

What have been your favorite summer purchases? What have you not lived without the last few months?!
